Simply terrible. Not only was the manager in charge extremely slow (THREE weeks)in sending me their agreement contract, but he never notified me during that period whether or not my reservation was accepted. He finally sent the contract THREE days before the actual event. Until then, I had 50 guests ready to go, but no guarantee or word from the business that there would be a bus for my much-anticipated birthday celebration. When he sent the contract, there were a dozen mistakes. Time of departure, destination, quoted price, Time of arrival were all incorrect, even though I gave him the information over the phone AND in writing. Furthermore, the bus (scheduled for pick-up at 9pm) did not arrive until 11pm and we received only ONE phone-call at 9:30pm in which the customer service agent claimed the bus would be 30 minutes late. She should have called prior to the pick-up time AND give me updates. Because we did not know the status of the bus, many guests left believing the bus would never arrive. After the event, there were no phone calls from the business apologizing for or attempting to reconcile any grievances. It took multiple calls to finally reach the manager who assured a refund that day. He was supposed to call within the hour, but never did. I proceeded to call the next week and was put on hold for long periods of time, being switched from customer service to the manager, and back and forth, claiming that the other was responsible for fiscal matters. Overall, I believe Five Star Tours should not be considered a respectable, reliable, customer-oriented business. Complaining to the head of the company would do nothing since the manager's superior and owner is his own mother.
