How does the building process work? |
| |
First a permit will be obtained. This can take from 5 to 15 day working days depending on your municipality.
Framing of a typical size deck can take one to two days, decking and railing can take up to one day each, additional lighting, skirting, etc. another day or so depending on the complexity of the design.
There are typically three municipality inspections: Footers, Framing and Final. |

Design developed and agreed to by homeowner. Permits applications submitted. Framing and electrical & plumbing completed before the first round of inspections, insualtion and drywall installed, spackling, sanding, prming and painting, then all flooring, baseboard trim installed. Some municipalities require additional inpections along with the final inpsection. |
