I could not have asked for more in a wedding planner. Emily really listened to what I wanted from my wedding day and ensured that everything that I had envisioned happened flawlessly.
Originally I had not intended to use a wedding planner because I was very organized and knew what I wanted. However, I spent the year before the wedding attending graduate school in Texas and realized that I simply could not get everything completed that I wanted to while I was living in another state. Emily made sure that the weekends I was in town she was available, we established goals that were time appropriate and agreed upon what would need to get done before my next visit. She was incredibly supportive, offered great suggestions, and provided an unbiased ear when I needed an objective opinion about the more senstive subjects you encounter when planning a wedding.
After having Emily work with me through the entire process of planning the wedding I trusted her completely, felt that she understood me and my husband as a couple, and knew that we had made a good investment in hiring her. The day of the wedding only confirmed what a great decision it was to have a wedding planner, especially Emily. Myself, my bridesmaids, my sisters, and the mothers did not have to worry. We were able to enjoy the day completely and know that someone was behind the scenes ensuring that everything came together as planned. If I was at all hesitant about recommending a wedding planner as being worth the money those reservations were completely gone the day of.
In the end hiring Emily was a gift to myself and all those that I cared about so much who I really wanted to be able to celebrate the day instead of having to tend to details. I would, and have, recommended Emily to many of my friends and could not be more appreciative of all the work she did. …

Everything was gorgeous, and Pini and I had the time of our lives!
Your attention to detail throughout the way from start to end made things much better and helped prevent headaches along the way... you were there for us until the end.

What can we say? We had to move our wedding up about 6 months due to both of our deployments and Emily pulled it off. We told her what we wanted and she made it all happen. She was very prompt in returning phone calls or e-mails and great at explaining every last detail. We walked through the resort the day before our big day and everything was perfect.
If you want someone who is up front, easy to work with and knows how to get you the great deals on anything from flowers to knowing the best wedding cake lady in Phoenix. Emily is the one you need to turn to.
We look forward to working with her again when we return to have one heck of a reception. Thank you to Emily and Your Hearts desire for making our Special more than we imagines it was going to be.

Working with Emily was a complete joy! She was very responsive and informative. Never once did we feel as though we were not in control of the planning and decision making. Her expertise and guidance was impeccable and professional. On our wedding day I don't know what we would have done without her! Her recommendations for our vendors and thoughts on arrangements were perfect! I would recommend Emily to anyone who wants a less stressful wedding experience and picture perfect details. Emily Edwards was a pleasure to work with and with out all her help and dedication our wedding would have not been the event we dreamed of. During the begining of our planning together, we were living in another state, therefore the only way of contact was thru the phone or email. She was very prompt in returning a response, and making sure that all our concers were taken care of. Emaily is a very organinzed individual, it was very easy for us to call her and tell her we would be in town for a specific weekend, and she would schedule appointments for us, and give us all the information. Emily is very knowledgeable about the wedding industy, and had many great refferals to other vendors to help us complete our weddding. I loved woking with her, and so did the rest of my family. She does her work with grace, profesionalism, sincerity, and compassion, and she knows how to have a good time. She is very easy to speak with about your ideas, to problems or concens.
