We cannot recommend ECS to anyone. They had a great presentation at the Home Show in Kansas City, and a great sales pitch. We paid more than $12,000 for a new ClimateMaster Tranquility 27 geothermal system a couple years ago. To date and after many requests, we have not yet received a customer manual for the supposedly partly self-service unit. Their attention to annual service is also not very good. The first couple years, they finally arrived after a couple months, saying it was new so no big concern. This year, our annual was due April 1, we called May 1, it is now September 5 and we have not yet seen them (I work from home, so am always here). So, I called a local a couple days ago, they arrived later that day (good gosh), and their fee was about 2/3 what ECS was when they came the last two years. So, I would find a different company. ECS is not for you if you want dependability. …
