The DJ, Nick was not very pleasant to work with. He asked one of my parents friends for his money before the family members had even gotten in the ballroom. We were taking pics right after the wedding and planned on paying him upon our entrance since this would be the first time we saw him. He did play my requests for the first dance song, bridal party dance, friends and family dance and last dance, but in-between the family dance and the last dance he played all fast songs, not leaving many romantic dances for my new husband and myself. He played the basics, YMCA, electric slide etc...(not my favorite kind of music) In his defense, he had a great crowd to work with and they danced all night. Also, we planned the wedding from out of state, so we couldn't meet with him beforehand.
