My wife and I selected WCV initially because we liked the product and the idea of the manufacturer being the same one who installs. (one of their selling points) If we ran into a problem we knew exactly who to go to. We have run into a couple problems and sorry to say, service has been 1st: slow and poor, 2nd: non-existent.
In my opinion the company has VERY poor follow up. After purchasing our windows, there was no follow up visit a week or two or month later to see if everything was ok, no follow up phone call, in fact, no contact from them at all! Then, after they installed a cracked window frame, ‘sealed’ the crack with caulking, did not bother to tell us the crack was there, and having mold form around the crack after less than 2 years, the guy sent to inspect the window would not listen to my wife who told him there was a crack. He did not inspect the window outside of 3-4 feet away, and assumed the mold was due to our baseboard heater underneath the window. This issue has yet to be resolved by the company, even after I called WCV and complained about their repairman’s lack of interest in actually inspecting our complaint. In all, I think the windows are a good product, however I would definitely recommend using someone else who will back their product up with good service and prides themselves on customer satisfaction.
